Socks Éclats — Cotélac x Atelier St Eustache

One of the three pairs made in collaboration with Cotélac / Atelier St Eustache.

Inspired by eighteenth-century clothing linings, the Éclats print revisits the polka dot pattern through inkjet work on fabric creating a visual effect close to Ikat. Each stain breaks the symmetry to bring substance and spontaneity. An echo of the exhibition of Olga de Amaral, whose works play on texture and the perception of relief.

Between shadow and light, the ankle is revealed by a play of transparency and is revealed to the rhythm of the movements.
This pair will be worn wonderfully with black loafers or denim pants.
The socks are designed in France, and made in Italy.
They are knitted with a thick and resistant yarn and are reinforced at the toe and heel for a lasting elegance.
